Sassuolo President Giorgio Squinzi won’t rule out Domenico Berardi joining Juventus – “we’ll talk about it next year”.
The forward was expected to make the move to Turin this summer, but opted to remain with the Neroverdi for their first-ever European campaign.
“Domenico rejected Juve because he didn’t feel ready,” Squinzi explained to Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Someone like him needs to play consistently and at Juve he couldn’t be sure that he’d do that. We’ll talk again in a year.
