Inter hope that Christian Eriksen’s presence on the Tottenham Hotspur bench this evening is another sign they’re prepared to sell.
The Nerazzurri confirmed they have made a formal offer – believed to be €15m plus another €3m in add-ons – which comes close to the €20m asking price.
Eriksen will be a free agent in June and is already able to negotiate with different clubs, which is how he came to agree personal terms with the San Siro giants.

Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and many more all confirm Eriksen and his agent Martin Schoots met with Tottenham directors this week to request an immediate transfer to Inter.
Jose Mourinho continues to insist in his interviews that Eriksen is a fully-fledged member of his team, yet dropped the Dane to the bench for the second game in a row.
He is only on the touchline for tonight’s match against Norwich City.
Italian media report that although Inter are trying to negotiate down the price, they will eventually pay the full €20m if they have to, even if it might be spread out between instalments and bonuses.
