“Napoli are absolutely ready for an important game in a tough arena against a difficult opponent,” Spalletti told DAZN.
“We have done everything we needed to and I saw the right responses during training. There of course will be a difference between the pre-season friendlies and an official match.”
There are two Serie A debutants in the starting XI, South Korean defender Kim Min-jae and Georgia international attacking winger Kvaratskhelia.
“They knew how to make themselves appreciated by their teammates, showing their qualities. Whoever wears the Napoli jersey must show straight away they are the right people as well as players to represent the sentiment of this club.”
