Tactician Luciano Spalletti has again rubbished links with Milan by committing his future to present club Zenit St Petersburg.
Spalletti has been named as a possible contender to replace Massimiliano Allegri should the latter be axed at the end of the season.
“I’m very happy in Russia,” he told Mattina Sport. “I don’t think I’ll be leaving as I’m very attached to the project we have at the club.
“There are already good and young Coaches in Italy, whereas I want to respect the contract I have with Zenit.”
The 54-year-old former Udinese and Roma boss is tied to Zenit until December 2015, where he reportedly earns €6m a season.
