Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti has reportedly called Paulo Dybala at Napoli, but Roma boss José Mourinho still hopes to sign the Argentinean.

Dybala has returned from holiday and is training alone at his home in Turin, waiting for an offer.

His contract with Juventus expired this past June and his agent had been in talks with Inter, but the Argentinean’s move to the Stadio Meazza has been put on hold following Romelu Lukaku’s return.

According to Gazzetta, Napoli boss Spalletti has recently called La Joya, trying to persuade him to move to the club. His salary demands are still quite high for the Partenopei, but Kalidou Koulibaly’s imminent move to Chelsea for €40m could help Napoli to finance the deal.

The Argentinean striker may lower his requests given that he hasn’t yet received any official offer, except from Inter.

This would also help Roma whose boss José Mourinho sees Dybala as the ideal striker to raise the team’s technical level. The Giallorossi can’t match Inter’s offer (circa €7m including add-ons) but will be in the race if Dybala lowers his demands.
