Timothy Weah is expected to start for Juventus in tonight’s friendly against Milan in the USA against his compatriot Christian Pulisic.
The Serie A giants meet at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Los Angeles County on Thursday, July 27 at 19:30 local time (Friday, July 28, 4:30 CEST).
Weah is the only new Juventus signing and he’s expected to start on the right flank in a 3-5-2 formation with Moise Kean and Federico Chiesa up front. Dusan Vlahovic and Paul Pogba are training separately so they are not expected to be involved against the Rossoneri.
On the other hand, Stefano Pioli has several new signings to try out.
Tijjani Reijnders is expected to make his debut in a 4-3-3 formation. Rade Krunic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will complete a three-man midfield with Rafael Leao, Olivier Giroud and Pulisic up front.
Milan lost 3-2 to Real Madrid this past Sunday, while Juventus’ friendly against Barcelona was cancelled due to a viral gastroenteritis among their squad.
