The Nerazzurri opted against selling the Manchester United target in the summer, but he’s been limited to just six appearances in Serie A and three in the Champions League so far this term.

“I am worried about Sneijder,” the club President told Sky Sport Italia on Monday morning.

“He’s getting injured regularly and his situation needs to be kept under control. It’s a real shame because we could have used him during these times.”

The San Siro giants have had a tough start to the season, but they were helped with a 2-0 win over Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”10″>Fiorentina at the weekend.

“The win lifts our spirits, no doubt,” Moratti continued. “The victory is a reward for Coach Claudio Ranieri.

“I think he’s worked in a certain way – from a psychological standpoint as well as on the pitch. Obviously, a victory had to come.”

Giampaolo Pazzini returned to the score-sheet and Moratti thinks that Diego Milito, today named as the 2011 Bidone d’Oro, would return to form too.

“For me, the other night, Milito played very well,” the oil baron continued. “I think he played in a very intelligent way, for the team, and so therefore the goal will naturally come.

“Pazzini’s goal was important because it allowed us to secure three points. I had no doubt that he would start scoring – the same will happen for Milito.”
