Wesley Sneijder is great friends with Milan midfielder Mark Van Bommel, but complained at his “unacceptable” challenge.
The Inter star has often joked with his fellow Dutchman about the San Siro rivalry, which came to a head in the Rossoneri's 3-0 victory.
“Van Bommel really hit me hard on the calf muscle,” Sneijder told the Corriere dello Sport.
“I told Mark his tackle was really out of turn, especially as Milan were already winning 3-0 and the game was practically over.

“I also explained to the referee that this was totally unacceptable.”
The Inter man also moaned when laser pens were shone in his face from the stands while he was trying to take a free kick, something that earned Milan a large fine.
“I complained because, on top of being distracting, these lasers are damaging to people's eyes.
“In any case, the result of the game was deceptive. Milan played better and deserved to win, but if we had taken our chances at the crucial moments, then we would've taken at least a point.”
Sneijder is looking ahead to tonight's Champions League quarter-final against Schalke 04 and confessed Leonardo made a huge difference to the Rafa Benitez era.
“Of course something has changed," he told UEFA.com. "I would be lying if I said no. It seems like Leonardo is one of us. He is not Italian, but he has been here for many years and he knows the culture. We are very happy with him and I suppose he is very happy with us.
“I think we are playing the same way as last year, but now the last two months are the most important. Here you can win prizes so we don't have to think about playing nicely, we have to win our games.
“We are still in the race to reach the final and win it. We have to believe like we did last year.”
