According to Sky Sport Italia, Romagnoli suffered a ‘muscle contracture’ just a day before Italy’s Nations League match against Portugal.
Consequently, the broadcaster claims the 23-year-old is leaving the Azzurri’s training camp and will be replaced by Francesco Acerbi.
