The Giallorossi are being increasingly linked with making a move in the January transfer window to strengthen between the posts, with the likes of Petr Cech and Neto mentioned.
The club’s thinking behind this is apparently based on uncertainty over veteran Morgan De Sanctis’ future beyond June, and a reported view that Skorupski needs another season as back-up.
Speculation has since followed that from January, Skorupski could even be on his way out temporarily, with the prospect of a loan move suggested.
“These are rumours spread by the newspapers,” his agent Bartlomeij Bolek has told Calciomercato.it today in response, though.
“You should ask the club if they are true, I do not know anything at all.
“What I can say is that certainly he would like to play more because he is a very good goalkeeper.”
