Los Rojiblancos host Il Diavolo on Tuesday evening in their Champions League Last 16 second leg with a 1-0 advantage.
Even so, their Coach believes the test at hand will be tough, in spite of Milan’s domestic struggles.
“I am sure it will be a tough game, hard, because they are a team with history and quality,” Simeone has explained to the pre-match Press conference.
“They have talent, we will have to see how our players recover from the Celta Vigo game [played on Saturday]. Today and tomorrow we will analyse the situation, but Diego Costa, Arda Turan and Diego Godin will return.
“The goals from David Villa [two at the weekend against Celta] and the development of [January signing] Jose Sosa are helping us to grow.
“I expect a great Milan and I am certain tomorrow will be tough, for them and for us. They have great players and in these games always they always give their best, we expect to see the best Milan.
“We will try to score, but we have to control the game – the intensity in midfield will be decisive, it will be key to the challenge.
“We need to shut out any space for them, they are a team with offensive drive and if we do not restrain them then it will be a game of suffering.”
