The Serie B promotion play-offs begin on Wednesday May 22 with Brescia-Livorno and Novara-Empoli.
There are two semi-finals with home and away legs, but if they end equal on aggregate then qualification will be decided by who is best placed in the table.

The Final also has home and away legs, but if they are equal on aggregate then extra time will be played.
If they are still level, then the team that finished higher up the table will be promoted to Serie A.
Away goals do not count and there will not be a penalty shoot-out.
