Padova-Torino has been moved again after floodlight failure, while Grosseto Coach Giuseppe Giannini sensationally quit.

It has been an eventful round in the Serie B calendar, as the big game between promotion chasing Padova and Torino was suspended four times due to floodlight failure.

When the electrical system at the Stadio Euganeo crashed yet again, the referee called a halt to proceedings.

The remaining 14 minutes of the match were set to be played on Sunday at 13.30 UK time, resuming with Padova 1-0 up, but that decision was changed again this evening. It remains to be seen when the game will be completed.

In other Serie B news, Grosseto Coach Giannini made a shock announcement after his team beat Zdenek Zeman’s high-flying Pescara.

“I am bitter, but my decision would’ve been final whatever happened today. I thank all the staff and players, but I have made my choice. It’s impossible to work here when being judged continually.”
