Napoli are without their star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at Frosinone while Marcus Thuram is expected to make his Serie A debut in Inter-Monza. Check out probable line-ups for today’s four Serie A games.

The day has finally come. Serie A kicks off today with the first four games of the season. Defending champions Napoli travel to Frosinone, while Empoli meet Hellas Verona at the Stadio Castellani at 18:30 CEST.

Kvaratskhelia is out of action for the Partenopei due to muscle fatigue and will be replaced by Giacomo Raspadori with Matteo Politano or Hirving Lozano on the right wing. Juan Jesus is expected to start at centre-back.

Simone Inzaghi’s Inter face Monza at San Siro at 20:45, the same kick-off time as Genoa-Fiorentina at a sold-out Ferraris.

Francesco Acerbi is injured so Stefan de Vrij will replace the Italian in a three-man defence completed by Matteo Darmian and Alessandro Bastoni. Former Nerazzurri players Roberto Gagliardini and Danilo D’Ambrosio are tipped to start for Monza.

Italy international Mateo Retegui will make his Serie A debut in Genoa-Fiorentina, but the Tuscans’ Lucas Beltran is expected to start on the bench with M’Bala Nzola getting the nod up front.
