Leonardo Semplici saw positives from SPAL’s 1-1 draw at Udinese, adding the result can give them the confidence to stay in Serie A.
Despite Crotone’s win at Verona meaning the Biancazzurri slipped two points off safety, Sergio Floccari’s equaliser gave the relegation strugglers an impressive draw against their in-form hosts.
“Today there was a little bit of fluidity missing in the final third,” Semplici admitted after the final whistle at the Stadio Friuli.

“It’s a shame because we played a good match against a strong team.
“But it’s a match that will give us confidence looking ahead to the future.
