Antonio Conte has resumed his work with Tottenham after undergoing an operation to remove his gallbladder recently.

The 53-year-old coach was forced to return to Italy earlier this month after suffering severe abdominal pain, which was diagnosed as cholecystitis and required surgical intervention.

Conte was forced to miss Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Manchester City last weekend but did call talismanic striker Harry Kane after the match to share his pride at the Englishman’s record-breaking goal, becoming Spurs’ all-time top scorer.

Conte flew back to England yesterday and was present for Tottenham’s training session today, ready to resume work.
