Politano has also been linked with Roma, where he’d reunite with former Neroverdi Coach Eusebio Di Francesco.

“Politano is a resource for Sassuolo and it’s not just Napoli who like him, but many other clubs,” CEO Giovanni Carnevali told Radio 24.
“In the summer he could’ve chosen to leave, but he decided to stay. We have no intention of selling him now and we’ve been very clear with him too: there will be no transfer talk until the summer.”
Napoli have already been rebuffed for their first choice, as Simone Verdi refused to leave Bologna mid-season.
