Empoli Coach Maurizio Sarri says his side travel to Turin tomorrow to mathematically assure their Serie A status.
The Tuscan side have been one of the surprise packages of the season, and can guarantee another top-flight campaign with a win at Stadio Olimpico against Torino.
“The lads are fine,” Sarri said in his pre-match Press conference.
“I expect them to play with the same intensity and determination as the last game [a 4-2 win over Napoli].

“I expect them to play with the same intensity and determination as the last game [a 4-2 win over Napoli].
“In the first half of the season, we faced Torino at a time when they weren’t brilliant, now things are different and it will definitely be a different challenge.
“On Thursday against Napoli we proved that we are good, playing for each other with a lot of desire and hunger, and I hope we can repeat that kind of performance
“Tomorrow we’re playing for the possibility of mathematical salvation, as well as to get closer to the teams above us.
“If we can achieve safety, it will disprove all of those who wrote us off, showing that there’s still room in football for a side like ours.”
Yesterday marked the 66th anniversary of the Superga air disaster which claimed the lives of the ‘Grande Torino’ side which had won five Scudetti in a row.
“I’m disappointed that we’re playing on Wednesday, because I would gladly have gone to the ceremony yesterday.
“Il Grande Torino represented so much in the history of football, and also that of our country.
“I expect a tough match for many reasons, we’re facing a strong and organised team who are playing for important objectives, and will want to honour the Superga anniversary in the best way.”
