According to SportMediaset, Sarri has told Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis that if he doesn’t release him from his contract, he’ll serve out the final two years.
That would leave the Partenopei paying both him and Carlo Ancelotti, though the former Coach is on a salary of just over €1m per season, so it’s not clear how much leverage he has.
Jorginho is expected to sign for Chelsea today, but it appears that a deal for Sarri is not as close as first thought.
