Siena boss Giuseppe Sannino has played down reports that he could replace Walter Mazzarri at Napoli.
Although the latter yesterday committed his future to the Azzurri, there are suggestions that the club could make a change over the summer.
Sannino has been paired, but the almost 55-year-old thinks that Catania’s Vincenzo Montella is better placed to get the nod.
“I think Montella has more of a chance at getting that job than me,” the former Varese Coach told Radio Gol.
“I’m still under contract with Siena. I’ve always said that keeping this club in the top flight would be my degree.
“All I am thinking about now are these last seven games, then I will ponder the future. What will be will be…”
Sannino, a 4-4-2 man, is tied to the Tuscan minnows until June 2013.
