Delio Rossi has praised Udinese and their boss Francesco Guidolin ahead of Sampdoria’s trip to the Stadio Friuli.

“Udinese are a model club for our game,” the Samp tactician stated on Friday. “Guidolin, meanwhile, is a master because they change players every season.

“I think they are a club to be copied.”

Rossi had inspired a Doria revival following his appointment mid-season after the decision to sack Ciro Ferrara was taken.

However, Sampdoria are now only six points above the drop zone after failing to register a win in their last seven games.

“We are now in charge of our own destiny,” the former Fiorentina Coach noted. “And we need everyone’s help here.”

Rossi has named a 26-man squad for the game and it includes Daniele Gastaldello and Angelo Palombo even if both are suspended.

Squad: Berni, Da Costa, Romero; Berardi, Castellini, Costa, De Silvestri, Gastaldello, Mustafi, Piana, Poulsen, Rodriguez, Rossini; Maresca, Munari, Obiang, Palombo, Poli, Renan, Soriano; Eder, Estigarribia, Icardi, Maxi Lopez, Sansone, Savic.
