Facundo Roncaglia will reportedly leave Fiorentina as a free agent in the summer after renewal talks broke down.
The Argentine defender’s current deal expires in June, and Firenze Viola reports today that the 28-year-old had come close to an extension until 2020 last month.
However, the two parties were too far apart economically as La Viola would only offer a slight improvement on his current €600,000 per season salary, while Roncaglia’s representatives were proposing €1.2m plus bonuses.
