During his 16 year tenure with Los Rojiblancos, the club have won five Europa League titles, one European Super Cup, two Copa del Rey trophies and a Spanish Super Cup.
Monchi – who used to play as a goalkeeper for the Seville-based club – announced that he would be leaving back in June.
At Roma he will link up with Diego Perotti and Federico Fazio, both of whom enjoyed previous spells with the La Liga outfit.
