The Dutch side are believed to have rejected an offer from Ligue 1 side Lille for the 21-year-old, and would ask for a fee of around €12m.
However, El Ghazi has had some problems with Ajax Coach Peter Bosz, and would be keen to make the move to Italy.
He was linked with Milan last winter, but ultimately decided that he wasn’t ready to move to Serie A.
