Roma confirmed Antonio Rudiger has suffered a thigh strain and will be out of action for two weeks.
The German defender sustained the injury during Friday’s victory over Fiorentina.
Tests have now confirmed there is a Grade I tear to the femoral bicep in his right thigh.
Rudiger is expected to be on the treatment table for around two weeks.
The Giallorossi had already warned he was out of Tuesday’s Champions League trip to Real Madrid.
