They’ve already lost Antonio Rudiger to injury, released Lucas Digne and Douglas Maicon, while Leandro Castan was loaned to Sampdoria.
Above all, there is a clause in Manolas’ contract meaning if he is sold before August 31 2016, old club Olympiacos will be owed €10m.
Chelsea remain the club most interested in Manolas, having already made a January offer, while Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are also in the running, according to La Repubblica.
Improved terms are on the table for €2m per year, an improvement on the current €1.4m, but Manolas wants €3m.
