Merseyside Police have confirmed that two Roma fans have been charged, after an alleged assault which left a Liverpool supporter in a coma.
Sean Cox remains in critical condition at the Walton Neurological Centre after allegedly being assaulted with a belt, and has been placed into an induced coma amid fears of brain damage.

Filippo Lombardi and Daniele Sciusco were yesterday named as the two men arrested in connection with the incident, and Merseyside Police have today confirmed they have been charged.
“We can confirm that detectives have charged two Italian men following an incident in Anfield on Tuesday, 24 April in which a 53-year-old man was seriously injured,” a statement reads.
“20-year-old Filippo Lombardi was charged with violent disorder and wounding/inflict grievous bodily harm.
“29-year-old Daniele Sciusco was charged with violent disorder.
“Both men have been kept in custody to appear at South Sefton Magistrates Court this morning, Thursday 26 April.”
