It’s likely UEFA will ban Roma fans from away games for one or two matches, after an attack which left a Liverpool fan in a coma.
Two Giallorossi fans, 21-year-old Filippo Lombardi and 29-year-old Daniele Sciuscio, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide after the incident before Tuesday night’s Champions League match.
The 53-year-old Liverpool fan was allegedly struck by a belt, and is in an induced coma.

UEFA will officially announce an investigation today, and the Gazzetta dello Sport expects that Roma fans will be barred from away matches for one game, possibly two.
The Lupi could also be fined, but sanctions on the club are difficult as the incident happened before the match, outside the stadium.
For the same reason it’s unlikely the Giallorossi will have a closed doors game, as the incident happened at an away match.
There will be a summit in Rome between the police, UEFA and the two clubs to try and ensure the safety of fans in the second leg.
