Roma have announced the signing of Seydou Keita on a free transfer this afternoon, on a one-year contract.
The 34-year-old was out of contract this summer after a spell with Spanish side Valencia and was reported throughout the week as having agreed a deal with the Giallorossi.

Now, the former Barcelona player, who was also linked with Liverpool, has officially put pen to paper with the Stadio Olimpico side.
“AS Roma communicate that they have finalised a contract with the Malian player Seydou Ahmed Keita,” a statement on Roma’s official website reads.
“The contract will run for one year, with an expiry date of June 30 2015.”
