Reports are emanating this evening that a deal for Red Bull chief Ralf Rangnick to become Milan’s manager next season is done.
Rangnick’s proposed appointment has been the worst-kept secret in Serie A, with the only doubts relating to how much power he will have at Milan.
Now, Sky Sport Italia, Tuttomercatoweb and MilanNews.it and others are all running the same line, that Rangnick will take control of coaching, recruitment and even the Rossoneri’s medical department.

Sky, in particular, writes how CEO Ivan Gazidis has already informed technical director Paolo Maldini of the German’s arrival.
Reluctant to sack a Milan icon, Gazidis has offered him the role of club ambassador, which he is likely to turn down.
That is because he has already expressed reservations about Rangnick and, in the past, showed no interest in accepting such a position.
