Genoa forward Eldor Shomurodov seems set to join Roma and should travel to the Italian capital tomorrow to complete the move.
Sky Sport Italia reports the Uzbekistan international will arrive with a private flight tomorrow morning and is expected in Rome around 08.00 UK time.
The report claims he will undergo the medical with the Giallorossi, the last step before signing with Jose Mourinho’s side and compete with Edin Dzeko and Borja Mayoral for a place in attack.
Roma will reportedly sign the player on loan with an obligation to buy for €17.5m plus €2.5m in bonuses, and Genoa will get 10 per cent of a future sale.
The 26-year-old arrived in Serie A last year and scored eight goals in 32 competitive games with the Rossoblu.
The striker, capped 49 times by Uzbekistan, arrived for a reported €7.5m in October 2020, after three seasons with FK Rostov in Russia.
