Reports in Italy suggest that Maurizio Sarri will become the new Chelsea manager, with an announcement imminent.
Representatives for the former Napoli Coach flew out to London today, after the tactician was replaced in Naples by Carlo Ancelotti.
Now SportMediaset is reporting that Sarri’s manager Alessandro Pellegrini and agent Fali Ramadani are defining the final details of a four-year contract.
The deal would see the former Empoli boss earn around €6m [£5.3m] net per season, with owner Roman Abramovich accelerating the deal today.

The Russian billionaire is said to have told Marina Granovskaia to get a deal done today or, at the latest, tomorrow.
It’s therefore expected that the Blues will pay Sarri’s €8m release clause, as despite being removed as Napoli Coach he’s still under contract with the Partenopei.
