Roma are reportedly preparing a contract worth €2.5m plus bonuses a year to keep Nicolò Zaniolo at the Olimpico.
Before the midfielder suffered a serious ACL injury in January, the Giallorossi had started planning on renewing his current deal in the Italian capital and the Gazzetta dello Sport claims the player has already agreed to extend with the club.
His performances in Serie A, combined with the call up to the Italian national side, attracted interest from top clubs in Europe and Roma had started their move to protect their valuable asset.

Before his injury, Zaniolo had played 18 times in Serie A, contributing four goals and one assist. The 20-year-old has been capped five time by Italy, scoring twice after making his debut on March 23, 2019 under current CT Roberto Mancini.
Both his goals for Italy came in a thumping 9-1 win against Armenia on November 18 last year.
