Reports in Portugal claim Mattia Perin failed a medical, so his €15m transfer from Juventus to Benfica could be cancelled or postponed.
The 26-year-old landed in Portugal last night and was all set to sign a five-year contract.
However, according to Portuguese paper Record, the medical tests were not reassuring and have put the entire move in doubt.
An update from the same source and A Bola suggested Perin could remain in Turin for treatment on his shoulder until November or December, when he could then begin his Benfica career.
