Edy Reja admits he had “contact” with Udinese, but “Luigi Del Neri will be the next Coach”.
The Zebrette sacked Beppe Iachini last night, and Del Neri appears to be on the verge of taking over at Stadio Friuli.
“I can happily say that Luigi Del Neri will be the next Udinese Coach,” Reja revealed on Radio Incontro Olympia.

“He will be Iachini’s successor. There was only intermittent contact between me and the Friulian club, but that’s normal when there’s a change of Coach in progress as is the case with that club.
“At the moment I prefer to wait for the right situation.”
