The Vesuviani were leading the Serie A chart for several weeks, until the Bianconeri overtook them with a 1-0 last-gasp win in Week 25.
“We're different from Juventus, that's all. Some people like it one way, others another. People can even disagree on the theoretical aspects of football.
“For instance, some may say that Juventus concede almost nothing and that it's difficult to score against them. On the other hand, we provide a more gratifying type of spectacle.
“They're in the lead and fate is in the hands of Juventus, not ours. If they win every game, it's over.
“But for the moment we must be proud of this Napoli, that is only three points away from the Italian champions.
“Simone Zaza's goal had a great impact in the minutes immediately after he scored it. The game had been ours for fifteen minutes and they seemed to be happy with the draw. Instead we ended up losing.”
Reina tweeted in celebration when Thiago Alcantara scored in the Champions League against Juventus, which many in Italy saw as a gesture in poor taste.
“But I've always been a supporter of my former teams. A year ago I celebrated when Napoli scored, now I do the same for Bayern. I'm a friend to my friends, that's all.”
