Massimo Rastelli insists Cagliari deserved even more than a point after their 2-1 defeat to Milan. “It feels as if we won.”
Patrick Cutrone had opened the scoring at San Siro on a Suso assist, then Joao Pedro equalised, but the Spaniard curled in a wonderful free kick.
“If Cagliari had drawn this match, we would’ve left here with the regret of not having all three points,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“We were under pressure in the first few minutes, then took control of the match. Even if we go home with zero points, it feels as if we won. I saw grit, sacrifice and quality from everyone tonight.
“We bring home with us the knowledge we played good games against Juventus and Milan, so that bodes well for the future.
