Andrea Ranocchia admits “it’ll be strange” to play against Inter with Sampdoria.
The centre-back joined the Blucerchiati on loan in January, having spent five-and-a-half seasons with the Beneamata.
“It’ll be strange,” Ranocchia acknowledged in an interview with Sky.
“The last time I faced Inter as an opponent was six years ago. Now I’m wearing another shirt though, and I have to do my best for this shirt.

“Inter and Sampdoria are both struggling for their respective goals, but ours are more important, we need points to pull away from the teams below us [in the relegation places].
“It will be difficult but beautiful.”
Ranocchia was also asked to compare the Coaches of the two teams, Roberto Mancini and Vincenzo Montella.
“They’re two great Coaches who give everything for their teams. I’m happy to be working under Montella and I want to give my all for Samp.”
