Christian Pulisic’s latest Instagram post fired up Milan fans but according to Gazzetta, the Chelsea winger must take a pay cut to join the Rossoneri.
The USMNT international is among Milan’s targets for 2023-24. He was on Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara’s agenda, but the club’s plans haven’t changed after the pair’s sudden departure.
Hundreds of Milan fans commented on Pulisic’s latest Instagram post where the 24-year-old used black and red circle emojis. It was referred to the USMNT tracksuit he’s wearing in the picture, but Rossoneri supporters hoped for a transfer hint and many begged him to move to the Stadio Meazza.
Friday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (page 13), however, reports Pulisic must take a pay cut to join the Rossoneri. Pulisic currently earns €5m at Chelsea.
The Rossoneri will continue talks with the Premier League giants and the winger’s entourage. According to the report, Milan also aim to lower the Blues’ asking price in the region of €25m.
