Inter youngster Gaetano Oristanio has regularly shown his potential whilst on loan at Volendam and has attracted the attention of some of the top Eredivisie clubs, reports detail.

The Italian forward is a Nerazzurri youth product and in August 2021 he left Lombardy to join Dutch side Volendam on a two-year loan deal, giving him the chance to continue his development with regular first team football.

Things have gone well for Oristanio in the Netherlands and he’s proven himself a talented and tactically flexible forward, scoring eight goals and providing two assists across 53 appearances.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, many clubs have started to pay increasing attention to Oristanio in recent months, with Bologna trying and failing to make a move for the Inter owned talent in January.

PSV and Ajax are keeping a close eye on the 20-year-old Italian and could look to make a move for him in the summer, after he returns to the north of Italy. At the end of the season, Inter will decide whether to keep or sell the talent, who is also being closely followed by Italy coach Roberto Mancini.
