Romelu Lukaku and Joaquin Correa are expected to start in Inter’s attack against Sassuolo, while Lautaro Martinez, Nicolò Barella, André Onana and Alessandro Bastoni will go on the bench.

It kicks off at 19:45 GMT+1.

Contrary to their city rivals Milan, the Nerazzurri can rotate ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg.

Only Milan Skriniar is injured, but both Denzel Dumfries and Matteo Darmian can rest with Raoul Bellanova and Danilo D’Ambrosio expected to start.

Roberto Gagliardini will get the nod in midfield and captain Samir Handanovic will start in goal. Federico Dimarco is favourite over Robin Gosens on the left wing.

The Nerazzurri have no draws in the last 21 home games in Serie A. Their last stalemate at the Stadio Meazza was in March 2022.

Sassuolo can rely on full squad and Andrea Pinamonti is likely to start in attack alongside Domenico Berardi and Armand Laurienté. Pinamonti is a former Inter striker who moved to the Mapei Stadium in a €20m deal last summer.

After four wins in a row, Sassuolo won only two of the last seven Serie A games, collecting three defeats and two draws, including the most recent one in a derby against Bologna.
