Cesare Prandelli will wait until the last possible moment before telling his players the starting line-up for this evening’s match with Croatia.
The Coach is expected to go with the same starting XI that began Group C’s opening draw with Spain on Sunday, even if yesterday he admitted to having ‘one doubt’ in the line-up.
Changes or not, though, Prandelli has suggested he will leave the confirmation until the last possible moment, an hour before the 5pm UK time kick-off, even hinting that opposition Coach Slaven Bilic could influence him.
“I’ve not yet communicated it to the players, I want to wait until the last moment, in anticipation of Croatia’s line-up,” the CT told RaiSport on Thursday.
“We must have confidence and optimism, we can go a long way. But we must be attentive to our opponents tonight, they are more organised than Spain. They can change more.”
