Cesare Prandelli and former Lazio striker Bruno Giordano have emerged as possible Stefano Pioli replacements, say reports.

The Coach’s future is under scrutiny after picking up only one point from his last six Serie A matches, with a host of names linked to the job.

Today Gazzetta dello Sport suggests former Italy CT Prandelli could be in line to replace Pioli should he be fired.

The 58-year-old has been out of work since leaving Galatasaray in 2014 and has previous Serie A experience with the likes of Parma, Roma and Fiorentina.

Giordano has also been suggested by the paper as a possible successor, having made over 200 appearances for the club as a player.

However, his coaching experience is almost entirely in the lower tiers of the Italian game and he is currently in charge of Hungarian side Tatabanya.

Cristian Brocchi, Milan youth Coach and another former Lazio star, remains one of the leading candidates for the job.
