Stefano Sturaro says it’s “useless” for Juventus to talk about the Scudetto – “we just have to go out to try and win every game”.

The Bianconeri had a nightmare start to the season, but have now won three Serie A games in a row, as well as securing their place in the Champions League Last 16.

Although the Old Lady still trail Inter by nine points, many are still tipping them for the title, but the midfielder is more cautious.

The Bianconeri had a nightmare start to the season, but have now won three Serie A games in a row, as well as securing their place in the Champions League Last 16.

Although the Old Lady still trail Inter by nine points, many are still tipping them for the title, but the midfielder is more cautious.

“Winning helps you win, maybe we were lacking a bit of self-confidence,” Sturaro explained to JTV.

“Now with these victories we’re finding a bit of confidence in ourselves, that was maybe the only thing we were missing, because all the players here and undisputed champions or future champions.

“For the title, for the future, talking about results or positions in the table is useless, we just have to go out to try and win every game.

“We’ll do everything possible to win.”

Juve travel to Palermo this weekend, and Sturaro is expecting a tough test in Sicily.

“It’ll be a difficult game, like all the others. We’ll go there, we’ll try to impose our game and be aggressive from the start to bring home the win.”

The Italian Under-21 international moved to Turin after a loan spell at Genoa last January, and admits he still has to improve.

“I feel like I’ve grown as a player and a man,” Sturaro said.

“Here you have other stimuli, games in other competitions, competing for other goals. Not to take anything away from Genoa, where I played before, or the other teams.

“I definitely have to improve in a lot of things. Technique, temperament – many things.

“I’m still young and I have to improve myself for as long as possible.”
