Pogba has impressed with four goals in 17 Serie A games, while his performances have seen him likened to Patrick Vieira and Marcel Desailly.
“I’m happy to have been compared to great players, but at this moment in time I am a nobody,” the midfielder told Canal+.
“I keep a close eye on how Andrea Pirlo plays in order for me to improve the weak aspects of my game.
“I’m still not a first-team starter at Juventus and boss Antonio Conte has told me that I have to be more competitive in the tackle.”
Pogba started at the weekend during the 1-0 loss at Roma in place of the suspended Claudio Marchisio.
