Miralem Pjanic has confirmed that he wants to make sure that Roma qualify for next season’s Champions League.

“My dream is to help Roma grow and get them into the top three,” the Bosnian told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“It would be very important to get back into the Champions League,” the former Lyon man added. “It is a competition which I miss incredibly.”

The inconsistent Giallorossi, who finished outside of the European places last term, are currently sixth in Serie A – four points behind city rivals Lazio who occupy third.

The 22-year-old Pjanic has taken his time to get a game in Zdenek Zeman’s 4-3-3 system. He has two goals in 11 League appearances so far this term.
