The Viola face one of their expected Europa League rivals in Turin tomorrow night, having failed to win a single away game so far this season.

“We know we haven’t managed to win away, even if we’ve often played well,” Pioli said in his pre-match Press conference.

“There’s always been a slight lack of determination and incidents haven’t gone in our favour. Torino are a similar team to us, more experienced, and more physical.

“They want to get into the Europa League, so we need to play a careful and intense game for 95 mintues.

“I don’t give anyone a guaranteed place, I play whoever I think can give me the most. Everyone has worked well during the week, I’m thinking about what team to choose and I’ll decide tomorrow.

“It’s important for everyone to be competitive and fierce mentally, I almost always make three substitutions and that could be decisive.

“Torino play in a very balanced way, especially on the flanks, and they’ve only lost to the big teams. This will be a tough game for us.”
