“As always, we go to win,” said the Coach after losing Klose and Abdoullay Konko to injury.

“We must believe from the start against an opponent that will be very motivated and forced to get points. We must go beyond 100 per cent to win this match.

“I have many doubts on my line-up right to the final minute. We are ready to adjust our style of football and I’ll wait to the very end to decide on how we play too.

“Lazio should return to controlling the games the way we know how. In every game we must have the right approach and dominate, even away from home. I want us to be even more proactive.”

Petkovic is not letting go of his Scudetto dream, even though Napoli have had their two-point penalty quashed to go level with Lazio.

“We have two teams in front of us who could decide the title between themselves. We must be ready to continue along our path and hope Juventus and Napoli slip up.

“The Napoli appeal? If the court made this decision, then it means they are not guilty. Those who are guilty must be punished.”

Antonio Candreva is included in the squad despite suffering from flu this week, while Alvaro Gonzalez has also shaken off a knock.
