Alberto Aquilani has not been called-up for Pescara’s match with Palermo, and he’s set to be released by mutual consent.
The former Liverpool, Roma and Juventus midfielder joined the Delfini this summer after leaving Sporting CP, but he’s managed just one goal and one assist in nine appearances.
Aquilani has not been included in the squad for the trip to Sicily, and Tuttopescaracalcio states that his contract will be mutually terminated.

That would allow the 32-year-old to join a new club for free in January, as well as getting his wages off the books.
Aquilani also played for Milan and Fiorentina, and has won 38 caps for Italy. He won the Coppa Italia twice in his time at Roma.
