“Two or three days before I was playing with Genoa, then I played right away. It was important for me, because confidence is crucial for a player.
“For a player like me, who likes to go forward, having a Coach like Spalletti makes everything easier, and I have some very good teammates.
“I’ve joined a team with top-level players, that makes it easier.”
Inevitably, Perotti was asked for his opinion on captain Francesco Totti, who appears to be in dispute with the club.
“He’s an important player for us. He’s our captain, he’s great in training and I hope he stays with us.”
